Fans of comics, gaming, cosplay and collectibles will want to keep the weekend of 18 and 19 July free.
Geek Expo is returning to EPIC for two full days of pop culture, bringing together artists, creators, traders and fans from across Canberra and beyond.
More Than Just A Market
Formerly known as Geek Markets, the expanded event is moving well beyond the traditional market setup.
Expect more artists and exhibitors, improved facilities, guest appearances, panels, gaming areas and interactive experiences running throughout both days.
The introduction of ticketing is designed to support the larger event and give visitors access to everything happening across the expo.
What’s Actually Happening
Across the weekend, you’ll find dedicated gaming and tabletop zones, artists and illustrators showing off their latest work, and enough traders selling comics, collectibles and fandom gear to help you track down that one obscure piece of memorabilia you’ve been hunting for since 2012.
Cosplay fans are encouraged to dress up, so if that’s you, this is your chance to bring your favourite character to life.
The Logistics
Children aged 12 and under receive free entry when accompanied by a paying adult, making it an easy family day out. Companion Cards are also accepted, with free entry available for cardholders’ companions.
Tickets are available online, with both single-day and weekend options. It’s worth booking ahead so you can head straight in and make the most of the full program.
