Whisky Capital is back for its third year, and it’s taking over the top floor of Verity Lane this Saturday.
Whether you’re a dedicated peat-head or still figuring out the difference between a Highland and a Speyside, this is your chance to explore whiskies from Australia and around the world in one place.
Why You’ll Want To Go
Whisky Capital is all-inclusive, so once you’re through the door, the pours at the exhibitor stands are yours to explore.
The lineup stretches from local names like Calibre Spirit and Snowy Mountains Spirits to distilleries and bottlers from Scotland, Kentucky and beyond.
You also won’t be tasting on an empty stomach. Food is included, alongside a whisky cocktail and an exclusive custom whisky gelato from Jasper+Myrtle.
Every guest will also receive a Glencairn whisky glass to take home, giving you the proper setup for your next sip at home.
Mastering The Craft
If you want to do more than just drink, there are masterclasses running throughout the day at no extra cost.
It’s a rare opportunity to hear directly from the people behind the whisky, ask questions and learn more about what’s in your glass.
For those looking to try something harder to find, there will also be a Rare & Old Bar and a dedicated Vintage Octomore selection. These premium pours cost extra, as do any bottles you decide to take home from the on-site shop.
Whether you choose the afternoon session or the evening slot, it’s shaping up to be a very good way to spend a winter Saturday.
