The Royal Canberra Show returns to Exhibition Park (EPIC) from 20–22 February, bringing three huge days of agriculture, entertainment and fun. With 150+ attractions, 5,000 animals and 450 trade displays, it is set to add to Canberra’s ever-growing list of big community events, mixing tradition with handsonon experiences and plenty of thrills for all ages.
Show Highlights
This year’s program blends agriculture, education and entertainment across the entire EPIC precinct. Look out for:
- Tri Series Women’s Woodchopping Competition
- Free camel rides
- An expanded Dog Lovers Showcase, featuring the K9 Super Wall
- A new Remote-Control Zone for hands-on tech play
- All-day action in the animal pavilions, with opportunities to meet growers, makers and livestock up close
And of course, Sideshow Alley is ready and packed with rides, games and the classic carnival atmosphere locals love.
Food & Fireworks
Foodies can dig into everything from loaded kebab dogs and truffle fries to colourful fairy floss sundaes and build-your-own fruit candy sticks.
Round out your visit with a bang: fireworks at 9pm on both Friday and Saturday.

The Show is easily accessible via light rail and bus, with free travel for school-aged children holding a Show ticket.
