Midnight Hotel, part of Marriott International’s Autograph Collection, has launched the Lume Suite by Tommy Balogh – a bold new accommodation experience that blends luxury with immersive art and light.

Supported by the ACT Government’s Tourism Product Development Fund, the suite features seven original works by the renowned Canberra artist, including the striking Goddesses Dance, illuminated with colour-changing LED lighting. Balogh’s signature style fuses technology, abstract expression, and organic forms to create multi-sensory, 5D experiences.

“For me, art is about opening the floodgates of imagination and creation through moments of the unexpected and unknown. The interaction of organic art with light unlocks 5D experiences, where space and time collapse, and boundless potentials exist and can be accessed by anyone.”, says Balogh.

This is Midnight’s second collaboration with Balogh, expanding on their Meet the Maker initiative to showcase the artwork, craftsmanship, and culinary delights of Australian artisans. The Lume Suite expands on this commitment by creating a fully immersive artistic environment, marrying Balogh’s dynamic artworks with luxury hospitality.

Guests can expect a king bed with luxe linens, a rain shower and bath, Hunter LAB amenities, and an exclusive Whiskey Lume Bar – complete with premium whiskeys and a non-alcoholic malt served with dehydrated orange.

The Lume Suite is now open for bookings – a must for art lovers and design enthusiasts alike.
