There’s nothing worse than spotting the perfect outfit at a market, only to find the change room is a tent. But that’s all about to change…
The Canberra Style Market, opening this Saturday, is unique to the local market scene, combining fashion, beauty, health and wellbeing products in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Held in the lower level of the Old Bus Depot in Kingston, the market will run on Saturday 7 October and again on Saturday 18 November. Get excited – this is the go-to place to find the perfect look for the upcoming events season!
The stalls will include hand-picked fashion boutiques with on-trend clothing for sale and hire; local designers of fashion, active-wear, jewellery, millinery, and accessories; selected pre-loved and vintage labels; beauty services such as free manicures and makeup and the opening market; and health, fitness and wellbeing products, services, and food.
This up-scale market will include proper change rooms (no tents!) with full-length mirrors, for you to pick the perfect outfit. Need a break from shopping? The chill-out area will feature a champagne bar, coffee and food stalls, as well as live music.
Kimberley from The Style Side will be presenting her style workshop at the opening market on 7 October Oct, from 11.00 – 11:45am. With a focus on 2017 Spring/Summer trends, Kimberley’s workshop will offer tips on developing a signature look, styling on a budget, and building a capsule wardrobe.
Tickets for the workshop include a complimentary champagne or coffee, and the first 25 to book will receive a goodie bag, including samples and discounts from brands such as Rebel Muse, Base Soaps, JAC Jewellery, and many more. One lucky ticket holder will also win a free personal styling session with Kimberley! Tickets for the workshop are $35.00, and can be purchased here.
The market will also feature a free Core and Cardio session from 10.00 – 10:30am, as well as a yoga session from Envie Fitness Jerrabomberra from 2.00-3.00pm. Jump on over to the website to reserve your place.

Entry to the market is just $2.00, and 100% of the entry fee from the 7 October market will be donated to the Tara Costigan Foundation, which provides victims of domestic abuse with much-needed support.
