Bursting with flavour and love

Canberra is starting to cool down, daylight savings has come to an end and the long cold nights are upon us. Although not a big fan of winter there are some benefits, such as the opportunity to enjoy an evening of Italian cuisine and a smooth glass of red wine. ANZAC Day 2013

ANZAC Day on Thursday 25th April is a national day of remembrance in Australia and New Zealand. There are many venues around the nations capital who are holding ANZAC Day activities.

The Duxton is open from 7am for breakfast – try their Duxton King Size Breakfast. There will be Two-Up from 11am all day, live sport on the big screens (Essendon Vs Collingwood and Dragons Vs Roosters), $5 Coopers, pitchers and buckets of coronas as well as a barbecue.
