OutInCanberra is looking for contributors to write articles and/or take photos for dining and gig reviews, events and news pieces. We want to give talented writers and photographers a way to express themselves and showcase their work.

We are inviting interested parties in Canberra to apply for a position as a resident contributor or as a guest contributor.

The much-anticipated launch of Canberra’s latest bar was an overarching success. With a guest list of over 400 people, and the alluring promise of an evening of decadence, the bar drew some of Canberra’s most well-known business owners, socialites and personalities. The bar launch was surrounded by a lot of hype and did not disappoint.

Brave, adventurous and determined are the three words that come to my mind after my chat with champion cyclist, Chloe Hosking.

Having won a bronze medal at the 2012 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, living in her own apartment in Spain and being a strong advocate of women in cycling, the Canberra born cyclist has achieved a lot for a 21 year old woman.

Hosking put her feet on a pair of pedals for the first time when she 12 years old after she received an injury from field hockey. She now rides four hours every single day when she is training.
