The National Campus Band Competition

The National Campus Band Competition (NCBC) is returning to Zierholz @ UC on Thursday 23rd August.

NCBC is the largest band competition in the southern hemisphere having run on Australian university and TAFE campuses across Australia for 21 years.

If you want to enter, your band must have at least one member who is a student of UC, CIT or ANU. Winners of the ACT NCBC final will take home the following prize pack:
• $500 travel credit from STA Travel to get themselves to the National Final
• $1000 cash from UC Live! to live like the rock starts they are

Canberra Centenary 2013

Canberra turns 100 years old in 2013 and a year-long program packed with events, activities and initiatives have been planned to mark the occasion.

Last Friday night Zierholz at University of Canberra was taken over by an assortment of Aussie Hip hop’s latest and greatest MC’s: D opus & Roshambo, Sietta, Dialetrix, Mantra and Thundamentals. They made up Hip Hop Big Block and rocked the crowded bar, and proved that Australian Hip hop is still as popular with Canberrans as ever.
