Italian Food Festival @ Locanda

During February, experience the cuisine, culture and tradition of Italy at Locanda during Sapori e Saperi – the Italian food festival.

Each week of the festival will see a different region of Italian culture and tradition featured, from the North-East and North-West during the first two weeks, to Central and Southern Italy in the final two weeks.

This year in particular the festival celebrates 150 years since national hero Giuseppe Garibaldi united Italy.

Groovin The Moo Lineup Announced

Groovin the Moo is back in 2011 with a cracking lineup of the hottest international and local acts.

From Art Vs Science, to Washington, Birds of Tokyo, The Jezabels and Cut Copy, there’s something to tickle anyone’s fancy when the festival hits Canberra on the 8th of May.

On top of a smogarsboard of artists, the event features the Moolin Rouge dance tent, market stalls, loads of local foods, licensed bar facilities, slingshot rides and chill out areas.
