Miss Kitka’s House of Burlesque presents Bootscootin’ Burlesque: The Sheriff’s Daughter, a gyrating extravaganza set in the wild, wild west.

This event runs from 7.00pm – 11.45pm on Saturday 24 July and 6.30pm – 10.00pm Sunday 25 July at the Canberra Irish Club.

This is a unique event in Canberra, showcasing the fun, sequin studded and cheeky side of burlesque. A show not to be missed!

You may remember him as our nation’s first Australian Idol, but over the past seven years Guy Sebastian has grown as a seasoned artist, releasing five studio albums and has been placed as a judge on the new Australian series, X Factor.

This month and next, Guy Sebastian and his band will hit the road to perform songs from his latest smash hit album Like It Like That. The Bring Yourself tour will hit clubs in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra in what will be Guy’s last public performances in Australia until 2011.

Two DJs from Montréal and Paris, Maus & Secret Maker, will perform at All Bar Nun as part of their Australian tour to celebrate the Fete de la Musique on Sunday 20 June, 4pm.

Maus travels from deep-house to a wide variety of techno music. Energy and youth of this Montréal born artist is much appreciated on the dancefloors here and there. Maus has become a star on the Montrealer club circuit, where she plays with artists such as Laurent Garnier & Carl Cox.
