Designing love for Little Dove

In its second year, the Jester Ball will transform the Albert Hall on Friday 21st November, into a playground of art, swishing skirts, debauchery and whacky masked brilliance.

With the addition of Little Dove Theatre Art and ‘fashion’ to the Jester Ball line up, the evening promises to showcase a plethora of fresh talent and wearable eye candy – never before seen.

Five young Canberran designers will be unveiling their new designs on the night, all inspired by the concept of love and the Little Dove Theatre Art.

Stonefest turns 40!

Get ready to rock at this year’s Stonefest, as the festival celebrates its 40th Birthday, and what a big birthday bash it’s going to be, with headline acts Grinspoon and the Dandy Warhols.

The line up starts on Friday October 31st at 7.30pm, running well into the morning, with doors re-opening on Saturday at 11.30am for Day 2 of the spring music fiesta.

Held at the University of Canberra, Stonefest is recognised as one of the longest running festivals in the country and will feature local, interstate and international talents.

Little Wings soar

Canberra’s young directors, actors and film industry professionals came together for the grand final of the Canberra Short Film Festival, on Saturday 18th at Dendy Cinema.

The final featured the top films as voted by the audience from the previous nights. The selection included an impressive array of films from 5 categories; Schools, Youth, Canberra, National and Music Video, with drama and dark story lines a popular theme.

The winning films from each category were then decided by a panel of judges.
