Style Stalker: Parhyse

By Jemma Mrdak

This weekend Canberrans welcomed the second Hustle&Scout Twilight Market at the award-winning Nishi Building in NewActon. This time around, the market was bigger and better then ever featuring lots more designer stalls and great entertainment!

At the Hustle&Scout Twilight Market, OutInCanberra spotted a variety of fashionable Canberrans who definitely know how to dress for this type of event (or fashionista heaven as we like to call it). One particular favourite was Parhyse, who stood out with her print and colour contrasting outfit.

Parhyse was dressed for an evening of shopping and fashion-hunting in her comfortable (yet still on-trend) and very stylish outfit. We love the risk Parhyse has taken with pairing two different types of prints, and we think its safe to say that she has pulled it off with perfect matching colour tones. Adding black and gold accessories to a predominantly blue outfit was a great mix.

Casual and cool, Parhyses favourite part of her outfit was her zigzag patterned skirt, not only because it provided a fresh look, but because she bought it from a Sydney designer. Parhyse is all about supporting Australian talent - fitting for a night at the Hustle&Scout Twilight Market.

Be bold and be brave, fashion lovers. Combine prints for that stand out effect - it's easier then you think!

Ladies and gentlemen, Summer has officially arrived and isn't it glorious?

Time for the ever-fashionable nautical look to come back into season. This weeks Style Stalker features the gorgeous Jess, who knows just how to pull off this fun trend in a red-and-white striped mini dress - it's a stand out look that's very suitable for Summer. The red and white is soft and a bright change from the classic blue-and-white of the nautical trend.

Jess has paired the outfit with a pair of Havaianas thongs and beach-esque accessories for a more casual day-time look. The dress is definitely our favourite part of the down-to-earth and pretty outfit. Jess has done a great job at pulling off a very trendy look this week.

Summer Chic on the Southside

On a balmy and warm Canberra afternoon in Manuka, OutInCanberra spotted the gorgeous Ella dressed quite appropriately for the summer weather.

What attracted us to Ella was her bright blue shirt that was paired beautifully with a pair of white shorts which provided a lovely contrast on her tanned skin. Sporting the classic summer shoe - the Havaiana thong - that are stylish enough to wear everyday, Ella knows how to dress for a Canberra summer! We love her Louis Vuitton and Fossil accessories which go nicely with her outfit.

Time to get summer-ready and set those pins out, ladies - it's warm out!

Last Saturday’s splendid Spring weather brought out the very best of Canberra style with OutInCanberra spotting the fashion-forward Jess wearing her 'Sheike' patterned shorts.

When we saw Jess at Public Bar in Manuka, we couldn't resist stopping her to have a chat while admiring her outfit. Dressed head-to-toe in high-street wares, Jess certainly knows how to rock the weekend 'off-duty' look with her monochrome colour palette and uber-chic up do.

What we loved most was her shorts. They stood out when contrasted with the black top and have a great sense of fun! The shorts were also Jess' favourite part of her outfit, as she loves experimenting with patterns during the fabulous warm Spring weather.

Style Stalker: Annette

Ladies, if you haven't already, get out those trendy print pants and wear them to death this Spring/Summer. OutInCanberra spotted Annette this week wearing her gorgeous pair of Sportscraft print pants which she claims can be paired with any of her outfits! What we love so much about this look is the way Annette has accessorised it with black and white detailing - it makes the print stand out and look very fashion-forward!

Annette's favourite part of her outfit (other than the pants) was her top from Country Road, simply because its brand new, in season, on trend and its also something a little different - as the the frill detailing lifts it above being just a plain white top.

Anyone woman of any age can flaunt the printed pant this season. There are so many varieties and styles around town that you'll find it hard to pick one!
