On top of touring with Future Music Festival, MGMT and Chemical Brothers will both play sideshow concerts in Sydney on Thursday 10th March.
Breaking onto the global scene out of Brooklyn, New York back in 2005, in just a few short years MGMT have firmly established themselves as one of the planet’s most sought-after, captivating and innovative bands. The band have spawned a string of chart-topping hits including the likes of “Kids”, “Electric Feel” and “Time To Pretend” – all of which quickly became anthems and forged the soundtrack for an entire generation of music lovers, worldwide. Released in early 2010 to critical acclaim, their follow-up album ‘Congratulations’ effortlessly topped today’s most coveted chart, the iTunes Top Ten Best Album list.
Renowned for their ubiquitous, explosive big beat electronic sounds and epic live shows, there are few bigger acts in the world today than UK pioneers, The Chemical Brothers. Featuring the sublime talents of Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands, this legendary dance music duo have been driving dancefloors, festival main stages and stadium crowds crazy for the best part of 20 years.
