Canberra is blessed with almost unfettered access to the shores of Lake Burley Griffin. Certainly, there is nothing better than spending an lazy Sunday down by it’s sparkling waters.

This year – the second edition of Sunday by the Lake – you have the opportunity to kick back with friends as you relax in the safe hands of the Hyatt Hotel as funds are raised for the Snowy Hydro SouthCare helicopter.

What’s not to love?

Yep, come 11.00am – 5.00pm on Sunday 7 December, you’ll be able to once again enjoy a fantastic day of fun for a good cause. The great news is that this year, The Hyatt is moving its entire breakfast buffet from the hotel down to the temporary structure at Lennox Gardens, meaning you are assured of a sumptuous feast including seafood, spits and BBQ delights. There will be a full salad bar, and a great selection of sweet treats from the Mövenpick ice cream cart. Drinks are also on offer from the friendly staff at the bar.

The team from Snowy Hydro Southcare – who will no doubt still be on a high from what looks like another highly successful Christmas Gala Ball on the Saturday evening before breakfast – will be on hand to guide your through giant chess, giant Jenga and Canberra’s most sought-after trophy: Snowy Hydro SouthCare ‘Bocce by the Lake’ Cup. Start organising your team now to have your name inscribed on this much sought-after prize.

Individual tickets are $90.00 and include a buffet lunch and a glass of Chandon on arrival. Grab yourselves a table of 10 for $900.00 and as well as lunch for everyone, there will be two bottles of Chandon to help start celebrating your Sunday.

Corporate tables are also available, and further information is available from the Sunday By the Lake website. Click here for details.

We’ll see you down there, for a fabulous day of food and fundraising!
