RAW is an indie arts organisation for artists, by artists and RAW Canberra is proud to announce to the launch of CURRENT. A one night extravaganza and showcase of 30+ local emerging artists spanning across fashion, music, visual and performing arts, music and more!
This will be the last RAW Canberra showcase of the 2014 season so this will be a HUGE grand finale to celebrate!
Showcase Director Sarina del Fuego is excited to once again be showcasing some of the city’s best emerging talent in front of hundreds of captivated patrons.
“Our most recent show at Uni Pub was a brilliant success. Hundreds of people came to the event and there was not a single big name ‘established’ artist on the bill. Canberra locals are clearly excited about the wealth of homegrown talent in their own city.”
“There is a new landscape for artists today. Traditional forums and paths for showcasing art have dried up or are no longer proving as effective. RAW is giving emerging artists a platform from which to launch their creative careers in a world where everyone is vying for attention.”

The organisation focuses on spotlighting indie underground talent to the public.

RAW events feature a cash bar for cocktails while you enjoy the night. Dress code is cocktail attire, so dress up for the occasion and get ready for an artistic circus of creativity!
The showcase is an 18+ event and tickets are $16.50(+bf) online or $20 (cash only) on the door.
