One of Canberra’s most-loved design and food markets is back, with Handmade Canberra taking over the Exhibition Pavilion on 21–22 March 2026. As a proud supporter of the Australian Made Campaign, every product at the market is guaranteed to be Australian made. Meaning every purchase supports local designers, makers and small creative businesses.

Featuring one of the country’s largest collections of handmade goods, the market showcases over 550 makers and designers through both its in-person events and its ever-growing online Handmade Directory. From ceramics and jewellery to slow fashion, gourmet food, homewares, skincare and art, the curation is immensely, and refreshingly, varied.

March’s Autumn Handmade Market will introduce a new wave of designers, alongside returning favourites like Outer Island, Red Fox Pottery, Waja Creations, and 2026 ambassadors including Windella Farm. The event also continues its partnership with Rise Above Canberra, reinforcing the market’s focus on community impact. The organization founded with a vision of alleviating the financial and emotional burdens that accompany a cancer diagnosis will be present on the day and welcoming donations.

Whether you’re hunting for gifts, refreshing your home, supporting small business or just enjoying the city’s creative scene, Handmade Canberra remains one of the ACT’s most reliable and rewarding shopping weekends.
