Event Recap: Boy and Bear at ANU Bar

2011 was a dream year for Indie folk rockers Boy and Bear. The band from Sydney released their first album ‘Moonfire’ which won the group 5 ARIA awards that year including Breakthrough Artist, Best Group and Album of the Year. Since then, Boy and Bear have been riding a wave of success that brought them to ANU bar last Thursday to launch the tour of their follow up album ‘Harlequin Dream’ which came out in August and debuted at #1.

Recap: Secrets of the Treehouse – Taste It Festival 2013

Treehouse appeared with a bang less than six months ago. The prettiest of the Sydney Building establishments, it became an instant hit for its fantastic fit-out, feature DJs and delicious cocktails.

These are things Treehouse does well. Very well indeed. However, to assume this is the sum-total of the Northbourne Avenue oasis is to miss a fantastic and vital element: the food.

For Taste it 2013, Treehouse turned out a fabulous little feast combining the best of their new season menu matched with a selection of especially crafted cocktail samplers to match the flavours on offer.
