The foodie lineup we have all been waiting for has been released, check the new vendors hitting The Forage on June 30 from 2pm – 7pm at The Little National Hotel. Don’t let the cold deter you, the winter Forage has been designed to keep everyone warm and toasty, there will be fire drums, gas heaters, mulled wine and endless winter warming street food.

New Vendors

Cash in on someone else’s grandma’s cooking. Yiayia’s Kitchen will be at The Forage coming in hot with loukoumades. Take it from someone who has a Yiayia of their own, you will not want to miss this magic.

Edible Favours will have an exclusive fudge just for the winter Forage. Be sure to have one there but also to take a few slabs home. Food festival-ing is all about being tactful! Eat until your heart, mind, and stomach is content – and then eat a little more!

Don’t shy away from the on-the-go cheesecake; Get Whipped Cheesecake Cones have been whipping up a storm in anticipation of the food festival. Leave room in your dessert stomach for this cone of joy.

Naked Pressed Juice Co will be officially launching their cold-pressed juice before it’s stocked in local cafes. The Forage will have an exclusive flavour called Blue Magic for revitalizing, nourishing and refreshing the bod. The most tropical juice of the bunch, Blue Magic contains apple, pineapple, lemon and blue spirulina, this juice is the perfect combination of sweet and tangy. The antioxidants in the blue spirulina assist in stress relief whilst also giving you the boost you need to get through the long afternoon of eating. Tonic Shots will also be up for grabs for a quick cleanse for health and immunity. Consisting of Ginger and Lemon, the main ingredients consist of all natural products and ingredients boosting health benefits to your mind body and soul. The ginger reduces nausea (relevant for an arvo of snacking) and is a high anti-inflammatory. Once you take the shot your body will definitely thank you for it!

Nellie’s travelling café and bar have been floating around town. If you haven’t been able to catch them as of yet, they are going to park themselves at this winter Forage.

Slinging cupcakes, brownies, donuts, toasties and bacon cheeseburgers will be none other than Veganarchy Baking.

The Rolling Schnitzel food truck is coming to warm us up with arguably the best combo ever of schnitty and gravy (add cheese and bacon as pictured above). If that doesn’t excite you, they have been known to please a cold crowd with a Boscaiola, schnitty & fries.

Ever wondered how the HerCanberra team stay creative? Gin of course. They swear by it. So much so they made their own French Earl Grey Gin with The Canberra Distillery which will be launching at The Forage, along with a Masterclass on the top floor of the Little National Hotel. We heard it changes colour when tonic or citrus is added. So, we had a bottle while putting this together – they were right.

There will be three music acts – Mana Sisters, Nick Rigby and Reinhold Kamillo. The Po Boys are also making an appearance and will be entertaining crowds with a 45-minute roaming performance.

A New Orleans style street party like you’ve never seen! Think Young Blood Brass Band, Lucky Chops and Dirty Dozen Brass Band. We take Top 40 hits, turn them on their heads and smash them through our horns, to get you movin’ and groovin’ anywhere we go!”
The kids have been accounted for with the usual table tennis tables, giant games pitch, and hoola hoops. As the sun goes down there will also be some live fire twirling performances from the guys at The Fool Factory.
