Tongue & Groove is Canberra’s most cutting edge bar and dining experience.

Paul Kelly of Sydney Interior Design firm, ‘Paul Kelly Design’, is behind this masterpiece of a fit-out, which transforms into an up-market ‘lounge bar’ at night. Customised hydraulic pendent drop-lights lower 2 meters and complete the intimate, ‘after-dark’ feel.

The Tongue & Groove team has added enviable trimmings to the large space, that’s raw concrete beams don a post-modern industrial feel. Wall murals, plush lounges and long timber benches dominate and add warmth to the space. Tongue & Groove also incorporate the use of Enviro Foam, an environmentally friendly foam that provides insulation for noise, resulting in perfect acoustics.

An entirely unique experience for Canberra, the Tongue & Groove kitchen offers an expansive menu, with a strong emphasis on tapas and the concept of sharing, right through to hearty mains, ‘too good to share.’

Included in their ‘Sweet Groove’ choices is the never before seen PizookiTM, Tongue & Groove’s own trademarked pizza-sized cookie, served with vanilla bean ice cream.

An enviable drinks list with a first class selection of wines, beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages compliments the generous menu.

Tongue & Groove has paved the way to becoming the capital entertainment hub with weekly events set to please a broad range of party-seekers and lunch-goers.

Tongue & Groove is set to be buzzing with good conversation and laid back tunes 7 days a week, trading 11am to 11pm (or till late).
