The People’s Choice Awards shine a spotlight on the exceptional dining and entertainment venues within Canberra’s tourism and hospitality industries. Based on your votes, the region’s top performers will be recognised at the Canberra and Capital Region Tourism Awards on 17 November.
To cast your vote, simply head to the voting portal and select your favourite Café, Restaurant, Entertainment, Event/Attraction, and Nightlife. Under each category, there are a few optional selections for you to make if you wish, for categories like best family-friendly entertainment and favourite breakfast venue.

Favourite Nightlife: BentSpoke Brewing Co.
Favourite Entertainment: Palace Electric Cinemas
Favourite Event and Attraction: National Multicultural Festival

It’s also time to vote the Canberra Visitor Experience Award, via outrate.com.au. This survey is aimed at helping businesses monitor performance, raise standards and improve their customers’ experience. Data and insights are collected on five key metrics – Customer Service, Atmosphere, Cleanliness, Value for Money and Overall Experience. Use the short survey to rate the Canberra business out of 25 points across these areas, and you have up until 5pm Friday 10 November to vote.
