Electric in Blue

On Night Four of Fashfest, among all the glamorous and beautiful people, I met Acacia. She looked stunning - wearing a striking electric blue jumpsuit from Zara, drop earrings from Swarovski and with a clutch from Mimco.

Acacia was dressed to impress that evening, and certainly achieved a result through her uncomplicated and elegant look. She completed her outfit with a slick and stylish ponytail. Acacia's favourite collections over the four nights were The Label, Ziyah and Luke Chiswell. A blue and gold neck piece from Zilpha Tart and maxi dress from Boho Bird also stood out to her.

For Fashfest, Acacia helped out with makeup on a few nights, therefore contributing to the flawless presentations on the catwalk. Her own stylish look was well-suited to such a stylish evening!

Wanderlust at GTM

We all know music brings people together and it was at Groovin' the Moo last weekend where I met Jackie. She was hanging out to see her favourite Brisbane band, Ball Park Music, with a few of her friends. While I was waiting to see them for the first time, I came across her group of friends soaking in the sun on a picnic blanket looking fit for the festival. Jackie was wearing Dr Denim from General Pants, a beautiful lace top from Zara, a hippie tasselled cardigan from Parliament and a camel floppy hat from City Beach. The perfect ensemble for a chill day at Canberra's GTM!

City Sleek in All Black

Freelance writer, Yadira Galarza Cauchi looked ever so sleek in her stylish all-black outfit. Yadira said that she just loves how black goes with everything and always looks sleek!

Her gorgeous Tony Bianco leopard print pumps made a statement - not to mention her stylish leather jacket from Croatia.

This exotic beauty certainly rocked the entire look. Time to pull out your jackets if you haven't already, ladies!

When in doubt wear black!

Urban Street Style

A chill in the air calls for good coffee and warm coats... and that's exactly how I found Tess at the new Westside in Acton Park. The Betts store manager and uni student was out to try the brew from Damn Fine Coffee for the first time. I quickly learnt about Tess that she loves her coffee!

Tess had combined her cool street style to perfectly match the cooler weather with a gorgeous black coat over a grey sweater (both from Sportsgirl), ripped Neuw blue denim skinny jeans from Parliament, black flats from Betts and Deena and Ozzy oversized bag from Urban Outfitters.

Men's Style: Fresh Cuts

On my way to grab a sweet treat from little dreams at the Hamlet I bumped into Adi Putra working at his salon, The Barber Shop.

The Barber Shop has a unique and relaxed style just like his own fashion sense. Adi’s style is as fresh as his cuts. His street and urban looks have been put together from a mix of stores including Zara, General Pants and Hype.

Adi’s street style tip is to invest in basic tees as they will always compliment something new, whether that be a hair cut, tattoo, jacket or shoes.

Top-General Pants

Pants - Zara

Hat - Footlocker

Shoes - hype

We love his urban swag.
