The Soul Bar


The venue has been open since the early 70's and is conveniently located between the Commonwealth Bank and Post Office in Woden Square behind Westfield.

The venue has undergone a recent ownership change but still maintains the original feel of the Soul Bar. The venue is a non smoking bar with indoor and outdoor seating with a boutique beer range on tap and extensive wine list ensuring the Soul Bar can cater for the most discerning drinker. A large beer garden at the rear is the perfect environment to listen to live music whilst enjoying your favourite beer or wine.

The kitchen has a great range of delicious food, all made fresh daily. The generous portions will ensure you won't leave the Soul Bar hungry. Also every day at the Soul Bar there are value for money lunch specials.

The bar has a large flat screen TV to watch your favourite band or sporting team with soft bench and lounge seating making it a comfortable experience. Enjoy the breeze whilst sitting inside, as the front bi-fold windows bring the outdoors in.

Lunch is served Monday to Friday from 11.30am until 2.30pm and you can enjoy happy hour every day from Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:00pm - 7:00pm and Thursday and Friday 5:00pm – 6:30pm.

Friday nights are huge as the live music kicks in from 6:30pm and finishes late. A vast range of bands and their music will ensure you will enjoy the night at the Soul Bar – be sure to check ‘Whats On’ to see the bands showcasing their talents over the next couple of months along with other happenings @ the Soul Bar .

Sunday Sessions at the Soul Bar occurs on the first Sunday of every month with a live DJ from 12pm till 6pm, which will ensure weekends won't be boring while you recover from the revelry of the weekend.

For a change of pace on the 4th Wednesday of every month the Soul Bar also hosts Comedy Night – see a range of comedians to make your evening enjoyable, starting at 6:30pm until late.
