Santa Lucia Trattoria

Caterina and Francesco Catanzariti came to Canberra from Calabria in 1956, bringing their Italian passion for fine food. That passion lead to the establishment of Santa Lucia Trattoria opening up in Kingston in 1975, it was the first Italian cuisine restaurant to open in Canberra.

The restaurant was then passed onto their son Roberto and his wife Francesca, who continued running the restaurant for many years.

Now onto the third generation of Catanzariti's, Pasquale Catanzariti and his wife Lorraine continue the 37 year old legacy of classic red and white checked table cloths, great food and a warm friendly atmosphere which makes a visit to Santa Lucia an authentic experience.

Santa Lucia have an extensive menu with traditional home made pasta dishes, and a wide selection of tantalising veal, chicken and seafood dishes. In addition to the Al la carte menu, Santa Lucia have special menus for children, lunch and banquets.
