The PorkBarrel is located in the National Parliamentary Rose Gardens adjacent to the long-established Lobby Restaurant.

Traditionally, politicians are lobbied by the public to make decisions, and politicians pork barrel the public to gain electoral favour.

The Lobby Restaurant and PorkBarrel form the ying and yang of Canberra’s political and dining centre.

PorkBarrel, an artisan bakery and eatery offers a simple, stylish and fresh venue serving breakfast, lunch, salads, pizzas and daily blackboard specials. The aroma of the bakery and feature display of European breads, pastry, Pan de Cea, sourdough and handmade brioche are baked daily and available seven days a week.

The PorkBarrel serves terrific coffee and a great range of wine by the glass and world class beers, making it the perfect place to enjoy the blossoming of spring with friends and family.

2 for 1 pizza’s every Monday and Tuesday for lunch, and Thursday and Friday from 5pm.
