South-side favourite Olive at Mawson has brought its Mediterranean flair to Hawker with its second venue now open at Hawker Place.

Brimming with the friendly service that Canberrans have come to know and love, the new venue will bring a menu of classic Mediterranean flavours with a modern twist.

This fresh take on a Mawson classic has been welcomed with delight by North-side residents, adding a touch of culture and a new place for a light lunch or an indulgent dinner to the local hub.

With everything from traditional dips and flat bread to oysters and a lavish selection of pasta, the venue has already been dubbed a regular for local diners.

A couple of our favourites from the eclectic menu include the Char-grilled Octopus with a splash of lemon to start, and the delectable Slow-cooked Lamb Shoulder with a generous serving of yoghurt-garlic sauce and a side of crunchy steamed greens.

But don’t just take our word for it, drop in and try the menu yourself! Open from Tuesday to Saturday for lunch from 12pm to 2:30pm and dinner from 6pm to 9:30pm, you have plenty of opportunities to give Olive at Hawker a try.
