Mooseheads Bar and Nightclub

Mooseheads was established in September of 1990, was lost to fire on July 19 th 2002, and then re-opened on July 22 nd 2004. The name was derived in conversation by the original owners whilst enjoying a couple of Canadian Moosehead Beers.

The top two floors plays host to an impressive nightclub with one of Canberra’s premiere sound-systems and all the visual and lighting entertainment you would expect.

Also for your entertainment a Dart Board and three pool tables are on premise, or for those wanting to relax, sit back in one of the lounges by the fireplace and take it easy and try one of the meals or snacks available from the kitchen.

In total there are four bars each on their respective levels, all offering a large selection of popular Australian and imported beers with some emphasis on North American / Canadian types. Mooseheads also boasts a large variety of premium and imported spirits, cocktails and an understated wine selection.

Mooseheads has always prides itself on being one of the best value pubs and nightclubs in Canberra. This is reflected by the Moosecard which is available to all at a minimal cost and provides the patron with $2.50 Schooners of Selected Tap Beer and our Basic Spirits from 7pm – 11pm Monday to Saturday nights, and can be used upstairs or downstairs.

Another feature of Mooseheads is the kitchen which provides an ever changing menu of light tapas meals and some traditional Pub Fare with nothing over $10.
