With a capacity of 113 and an excellent sound system (not to mention a range of drinks), Mercury Bar is a great place to host your 21st, Engagement or... whatever party crosses your mind!

The team host functions on any night of the week, but contact them sooner rather than later, to ensure your date is available.

To keep functions reasonably priced the team allow you to organise your own food. Cold food tends to work best as there are limited facilities to heat large quantities of hot foods on the premises.

You can also bring your own music along or the team can provide for a variety of tastes.

Mercury don't charge for the hire of the venue but they do ask for a $300 deposit, that can be converted into a tab on the night.

This is payable 7 days before the function and ensures they can pay staff if the function is cancelled at short notice.

You can decorate but remember we are a functional nightclub so simple balloons and a few streamers work well - too much other decoration is difficult to get down before they open to the public.

Attendance by minors is strictly controlled. The Liquor Act has a number of conditions that have to be met - and the team are happy to inform you of those, if minors are to attend the function.
