The Treasures Gallery holds many of the Library's most prized items from iconic objects to handwritten histories. Terra Australis to Australia is a narrative of our nation and its development, featuring highlights from the Library's collection, from early maps and atlases to books, manuscripts, paintings, drawings, photographs and objects. Come face-to-face with James Cook's Endeavour journal, a display showcasing the Library's collection of celestial mapping, the notebook William Bligh kept after the Bounty mutiny, and a selection of zines from the Library's growing collection. 10 am–5 pm. Champagne Masterclass @ Canberra Centre

Join The Champagne Dame, Kyla Kirkpatrick, for a journey into the wonderful world of champagne and be introduced to some of the colorful characters who have interwoven their lives with champagne. Just in time for Christmas and dinner party season the Champagne Dame will be hosting a Champagne Masterclass for 50 VIPs from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.

Guests will receive one French sparkling and four champagne tastings throughout the 1.5 hour presentation, which includes a performance of sabrage and a style bag to take home.

Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased from the Customer Service Lounge on Level 1.

Book now, as spaces are strictly limited. Attendees must be over 18.
