NewActon favourite A. Baker is currently serving up the award-winning Australia’s Oyster Coast produce for Canberrans to sample. Offering diners oysters two ways, enjoy the natural South Coast oyster or the baked oyster with bacon jam and pangrattato for something out of the ordinary!

As a restaurant driven by local produce the A. Baker menu changes from week to week. Luckily, oysters are still on the menu, so get on down to A. Baker and try these culinary gems before they disappear!

C Seafood & Oyster Bar

17/19 Eastlake Parade, Kingston

When it comes to seafood, these guys aren’t messing around! When it comes to oysters, you have the opportunity to order either Pacific or Rock oysters from their raw oyster bar, both of which are only shucked once ordered.

With eight varieties of oysters available on their menu, if you’re looking for the best oyster in town, chances are you’ll find it here. To start we recommend the mignonette oysters, or if you’re feeling adventurous, try the Thai-style from their grilled oyster selection.

Head down to C Seafood & Oyster Bar on Friday between 5 and 7pm for ‘Buck a Shuck’, to sample their fine produce for just $1 an oyster.
