The trio of Rachel Thoms, Lachlan Coventry and James Le Fevre come together once again for a special Sunday performance at Mount Majura Vineyard. The playful, interactive nature of the trio ensures an entertaining performance showcasing both the individual and ensemble musicianship of these seasoned players. The group will be performing a mix of jazz standards from the great American Song Book encompassing composers such as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Miles Davis and Irvin Berlin. There’s likely to be a few obscure tunes and some originals from the pen of Thoms. Enjoy a cheese plate, whilst you sip award winning wine, and listen to some classic Jazz. Begins at 12.30pm - 3.30pm.

Not even the rain and loss of Daylight Savings kept the dedicated from Transit Bar on Thursday night for the return of Glass Towers after their tour of America. The night opened with The Alternative, who brought quite a large crowd of followers. It was their first foray into the music scene with a drummer, having previously performed as an acoustic duo. They presented some nice acoustic guitar and solid basslines, and their final song (introduced by the lead singer as their personal favourite) was a definite crowd pleaser.
