A new coffee shop in Canberra has opened, offering vegan donuts, decadent brunches and boutique coffee.
Coffee Room on Lonsdale Street at Braddon opened before Christmas.
The owners Lucy and Chris have big plans for the café.
“We are dedicated to creating and providing yummy healthy food mainly plant based and quality coffee sourced from a Melbourne boutique roaster,” Lucy said.
Vegan donuts are a hot item on the menu, as is The Big Vegan, featuring a tofu scramble, hash brown, sauteed spinach, house-made pickles, heirloom tomatoes, avocado (of course!) and alfalfa.
For the meat-lovers, grab some pulled pork loaded chips, with guacamole, chili, sour cream and BBQ sauce.
Coffee Room serves breakfast, lunch, drinks and coffee, and is open from 7am to 5pm.
