Daily flights between Canberra and Singapore have begun, giving Canberrans greater choice and flexibility when travelling internationally.

The convenient evening flights from Singapore Airlines will connect Canberrans to more than 130 destinations, including close to 70 Asian cities across 14 countries.

The new service will also be on an upgraded aircraft. The Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft offers a more modern and comfortable experience for travellers from Canberra.

For the first time, Canberrans will have a choice of four classes when they fly – first, business, premium economy and economy.

In addition, the upgraded aircraft also means that first class and business class travellers to Singapore will have access to a full flatbed and other features that take comfort to a new level.

The daily service will suit travellers of all stripes. In particular, the night departure is a fantastic opportunity for business travellers to Singapore, who will be able to hit the ground running when their aircraft lands first thing in the morning.

The Canberra to Singapore flights will depart at 11.15pm from the capital and arrive at 5.15am, while the return flights will leave Singapore at 10.30am and arrive at 10.20pm.

With Singapore Airlines’ daily service, Canberrans will have daily access to more than 170 destinations worldwide on two of the world’s best international airlines.

Canberra Airport’s goal is to continue to explore more national and international services and keep giving Canberrans the best travel options around Australia and the world.
