The Woden Valley Festival aims to inspire and unite the local community. It is a chance to celebrate lifestyle and provides the community with links to a wealth of local resources including business, social and recreational as well as showcasing a range of live music and entertainment.
Enjoy tunes on the big stage with some of Canberra’s favourite bands, including; Dan Banks Band, Julia and the Deep Sea Sirens, The Wedded Bliss, Minh ha, D’Opus & Roshambo and more.
Circus performers, swing dancers, belly dancers and roving performers will be adding colour to Eddison Park, while rides, kids entertainment and a range of yummy food will also be on offer.
The Woden Valley Festival is fast becoming a signature event on Canberra’s Festival circuit – one that is broadening Woden’s appeal from a business and employment district to one that reflects the vibrant community that lives, works and plays in the Woden Valley district.
The theme of ‘Health, Sustainability and Lifetyle’ has given the festival wide appeal and fits in with the active outdoors lifestyle that many Canberrans enjoy.
