It’s back! The Spicks and Speck-tacular has played to more than 85,000 fans across this wide and broadly speaking brown land over the last year. As an early Christmas treat, Adam Hills, Alan Brough and Myf Warhurst will be hitting the road one more time!

So if you live in or around Canberra, now’s your chance to see them live on stage. Spicks and Specks has been a runaway hit for the ABC with more than 1.4 million Australians tuning into ABC TV every Wednesday to unleash their inner music nerd.

Now the three of them are bringing their stories and their skills to the stage for the ultimate Spicks and Speck-tacular.

Several games from the show have been ramped up for the stage and the whole show rocks along to a live band led by Myf’s big brother Kit Warhurst(Rocket Science; Manic Suede) and rounded out by Stevie Hesketh (Jet) and Gus Agars (The Vandas; The Gin Club).

We spend 2 glorious minutes with music genious Alan Brough and ask the hard questions;

Q. What CD is in your car at the moment?

A. I don’t have a car so I broke into the neighbour’s to find out. They’re listening to Havilah by The Drones.

Q. Vinyl or digital?

Q. Most memorable guest on S+S?

A. Lloyd Cole

Q. Your most over-used joke?

A…then I said ‘Now we can all get some sleep’.

Q. What’s in store for the Canberra show?

A. Nudity. Albino tigers.

Q. If you weren’t a comedian, what would you be?
