Get Low is a heart-warming comedic fable set deep in the heart of Tennessee where, for years, townsfolk have been terrified of hermit, Felix Bush (Robert Duvall).
When one day he rides into town asking to hold his own ‘living’ funeral party, wily salesman and funeral parlor owner Frank Quinn (Bill Murray) enlists his gentlemanly apprentice, Buddy Robinson (Lucas Black), to win over Felix’s business.
As the funeral approaches, the mystery that involves widow Maddie Darrow (Sissy Spacek), the only person in town who ever got close to Felix, and the Illinois preacher Charlie Jackson (Bill Cobbs), who refuses to speak at his former friends funeral – only deepens.
