For more than a decade, jeweller Phoebe Porter has created exquisite pieces of contemporary jewellery with selected industrial materials, a sophisticated and restrained approach and the refined hand skills of an experienced and confident craftsperson.

Porter graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Gold and Silversmithing) at ANU School of Art in 2001. Her work has been acquired for a number of public collections, including the Art Gallery of South Australia and the Powerhouse Museum. Porter has received a number of awards and grants throughout her career.

Canberra is once again Porter’s home and her upcoming solo exhibition, Unfold and Construct, will showcase new pieces that highlight the true value of material things in today’s world of mass production and consumption.
