Nothing says spring like a refreshing concoction of spirits, juice, floral notes and a touch of sweetness. So to get you into the spirit of springtime, a good ol’ Sunday sesh or after work drinks, we’ve have put together a list of our favourite seasonal cocktails to keep you sipping in style this season.

Yoga Pants at The Dock (pictured)

You don’t have to be a fitness freak to indulge in this springtime sipper, despite what the name suggests. With a refreshing combination of watermelon liquor, Skyy 90 vodka, fresh watermelon and coconut water over ice with a sprig of fresh mint, this is the perfect accompaniment to a warm spring day overlooking the water on the Kingston Foreshore.

Twigs and All at Treehouse Bar

Watch the hustle and bustle of Civic during daylight savings at Treehouse Bar in the iconic Sydney Building. Heighten the freshness of the season by sipping on a Twigs and All cocktail downstairs at the venue. Combining the Pampero rum, lime, elderflower, sugar, soda and mint, this encapsulates all that is spring in a glass.

Just Plum Tastic at C Seafood and Oyster Bar

Oysters, prawns and a sweet, refreshing tipple is all on the cards at the foreshore’s C Seafood and Oyster Bar. To heighten your seafood experience, order a Just Plum Tastic from the bar. This concoction is lavender-inspired and combines plum wine, Bulldog gin, lavender soda and lavender sugar.

Mango Mojito at Public Bar and Dining

Pubic Bar and Dining is the perfect place for sharing a bite to eat with a group of friends and family, as well as splurge on a gorgeous, seasonal cocktail. Personally, we can’t look past the Mango Mojito. When the sun’s-a-shining, anything mango is a hit and this combination of mango vodka, strawberries, mint and soda is one of Canberra’s greats.

Frosty Flower at The District

Kick back in the ‘burbs with a tasty little Frosty Flower cocktail from Crace local, The District. Playing on the floral-flavour of the season this cocktail combines gin, elderflower liqueur, cucumber, lime, mint and soda for a refreshing Sunday session with the girls.
