The Australian Polish Film Festival
by OutInCanberra 17 October 2012
The National Film and Sound Archive will be celebrating the re-emergence of Polish cinema by showcasing a new selection of films from Thursday, 18 October until Saturday, 20 October at Arc Cinema.
After strong themes of moral anxiety, the Solidarity’s opposition movement and the fall of communism throughout the ‘60s, ‘70s and ‘80s, these films focus on the nation in the 21st century - although the country’s past is not forgotten.
Admission to all Australian Polish Film Festival session is $15 (no concessions).
