Renee Douros has an eye for style and all things pretty. With a stand-out creative mind, the editor and publisher of Hooray! Magazine has launched The Floral Society. Think of this new project as an online net-a-porter for flowers and a floral mecca for Canberrans.

We caught up with Renee to find out all about the new online platform for blooms. This is one of the trendiest and most convenient ways to fill your house or office with fresh flowers, purchase a special curated daily bunch for someone special or gain ideas for your own DIY event styling or table decoration. Plus, it can all be done online from your computer, phone or tablet – anywhere, anytime!

So, here’s what you can expect:

Daily Florals
Daily arrangements start from just $30.00, delivery is free and ordering online is, of course, effortless! “We do all the leg-work for the customer,” says Renee. “My florists hand pick the highest-quality seasonal blooms for you to gift or arrange in your home.” Everyday the flowers are picked fresh from The Sydney Flower Markets and arranged by The Flower Society’s expert florists. A picture is then uploaded to the website and social media channels for you to view and order. You can also pre-order to ensure that your order is sent on a specific day, because once the flowers are sold out, that’s it until the following day.

Floral Subscriptions
For those pursuing permanent chic, The Floral Society also offers a subscription service delivering gorgeous flowers on a weekly, fortnight or monthly basis. It’s just like subscribing to a magazine – easy and cost-effective. Who doesn’t love receiving a special delivery?

The Floral Market
One of the most innovative features of The Floral Society is the fresh floral market. Providing beautiful, single variety bunches and collections of florals based on current styling trends. “The online flower market enables effortless online shopping and is perfect for those who are hosting a special occasion like a wedding or a baby shower, or simply just want a daily dose of loveliness in their lives.”

Market-fresh flowers are delivered direct to the buyer’s door and ready for arranging. It’s convenience at its absolute best. “We enable the customer to be their own florist, expressing their own creativity through DIY arranging,” says Renee.

Events & Workshops
Excitingly, Canberrans will also have the chance to be involved in a bunch of specially curated events and workshops with The Floral Society and other local businesses. Keep your eye out subscribing to the website and following their social media channels. The very first workshop has just been announced: A wreath- and posy-making workshop with Hooray! Magazine is being held on Saturday 7 November.

Tickets are limited, so tell your friends and grab yours here: www.hooraymag.com
