Student Race Day 2012

With last year’s Student Race Day being a huge success, Students In Canberra (SIC) are pleased to present to you their third Annual Student Race Day.

Hitting Thoroughbred Park on Friday 12th of October, this is shaping up to be an event you do not want to miss out on. With the chance to win over $3,000 in cash and prizes in the Fashions on the Field competition and the new Mascot Race, there are plenty of chances to get involved and win big. There is also a talented student dj line-up playing sets throughout the day - this race day is going to be huge!

This year, Student Race Day will be the first ever twilight race meeting held at Thoroughbred Park with the first race at 2.28pm and the last race at 6.50pm.

Entry is free and all money raised on the day will be donated to YouthCare Canberra.

SIC are offering FREE ADMISSION and FREE buses from ANU and UC (from 1 till 3pm). There is also a drinks special on the day - Boags Draft Stubbies $4 all day!

So girls, get those fancy frocks out and boys, style up in those suits to get yourself down to Thoroughbred Park for the Third Annual Student Race Day.

For those students still ready to kick on after the races, Siren Restaurant & Bar is the venue for the official after party.
