On Friday 12 December from 4.00pm until 9.00pm, you’ll have the opportunity to do just that as Night Market Canberra debut within the Hotel Realm precinct, albeit with a decidedly sophisticated touch.
The brainchild of Natalie Weber and Marissa Christian, Night Market Canberra looks to transcend the tradition vintage and second-hand shopping experience by focusing largely on high-end products with definite designer appeal. Designers such as Multiculture, FrankIdeas and Maddison Jayne.
The sumptuous Realm precinct in Barton will play host to this shopper’s paradise. By running the market through the late afternoon and into the evening, eagle-eyed shoppers can swing through on the way home from work for a quick fossick, or settle in for an evening of dedicated fossicking and browsing.
Designers will be travelling to Night Market Canberra from within Canberra and from interstate, allowing shoppers to find something that represents Canberra, or perhaps discover a few unique treasures that will make for the perfect gift (or just keep to yourself!)
There will be plenty of music and entertainment all evening, and Maple and Clove will have their bar open for those looking to enjoy a tipple or two. There will be plenty of pop-up food stalls to keep you energy levels up, meaning there is no real reason not to pop in on a Friday night and make it a great evening with friends.
