The National Multicultural Festival returns to Canberra this weekend. Sample some of the world’s most mouth-watering cuisines whilst enjoying vibrant displays of arts, music and dance.

Over three days, cultural groups from the region will come together to celebrate their heritage and traditions with the wider community. Acclaimed Australian performers Anthony Callea and Troy Cassar-Daley will be making appearances and promise to keep crowds entertained.

More than 150 free events will take place over the weekend, including local favourites: The Food and Dance Spectacular, Indigenous Showcase, Europe Street and Chinese New Year in the City.

This year will also see the introduction of several exciting new initiatives, including a secure bicycle parking area and a Sanctuary Precinct – a perfect retreat for families, young children and seniors amidst the dynamic event.

Festival hours:

Friday February 10 – 4.30pm to midnight (Launch @ 7.15pm)
Saturday February 11 – 10am to midnight
Sunday February 12 – 10am to 5pm

The annual festival attracts thousands to the nation’s capital and is an event not to be missed!
