The second Local Fashion Trail at Lucky’s was held last night and, yet again, proved to be a great success!

The who’s-who of Canberra’s fashion scene were all in attendance, dressed to impress and eager to take it all in.

Showcasing their new in-season trends for spring were four fantastic boutiques – Braddon Tailors, Soho Dezigns, Designer Op Shop and Wildwood.

A total of eight gorgeous models, including two males, walked in four shows this time and were fabulous at taking on the challenge of live modelling through the crowd. They all had fun posing for the cameras (with a bit of cheekiness!) to keep in with the relaxed and social theme.

Each boutique displayed its own unique trend, and yet the collaboration gelled extremely well.

Braddon Tailors were first off the mark with the male models strutting their stuff in 100% pure wool suits, silk ties, brown leather shoes, tailored shorts and tuxedos. Each suit was perfectly tailored, and exuded style.

Soho Dezigns showed their new range of designer evening wear, with tailored shorts, neoprene dresses, black and white pantsuits. The models’ hair was styled in glamorous sweeping waves.

Designer Op Shop showcased a mix of vintage and modern looks. Heavily beaded stroppy evening dresses, long sleeve sequin dresses, leather short shorts as well as chiffon capes showed the diverse range available.

Wildwood’s models were styled with loose ‘beachy’ hair and wore boho-style clothing, with off-the-shoulder lightweight tops, and flowing full-length and mini-skirts.

Canberra Makeup Academy were again on hand to master hair and makeup to which they did a fantastic job.

The Lucky Door prize included one night’s stay at QT Canberra and a set of crystal champagne flutes from Designer Op Shop. There were also prizes for Best-Dressed Male and Female – Soho Dezigns generously donated a Cameo the Label Nightsky Dress to the best-dressed lady and Lucky’s generously donated a $150 Bar Tab Voucher for the stylish lad! A social media savvy person also caught the eye of organisers with consistent posting on both Twitter and Instagram using the hashtags #QTStyle and #QTFT – Amelia won a $50 Voucher to spend at Designer Op Shop.

We can’t wait for the Summer edition of the Local Fashion Trail at Lucky’s – the runway is set to sizzle!
