Local designer, ‘a Little Mad Hatter’

Canberra student and fairytale lover, Una Park, likes little hats.

Driven by the excitement of the Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Una dreamed up her own way to pay homage to the fairytales she loves so dearly, creating Little Mad Hatters.

“I have always been dreaming of creating something unique and beautiful, and suddenly thought – mini hats!”

Little Mad Hatters offer beautiful millinery in playful colour concepts and adorable styles, inspired by years of hat-watching.

“One of the best hats I’ve ever seen is from the film, My Fair Lady. Although it wasn’t really a tiny hat, Audrey Hepburn looked so gorgeous in the elegant style.”

Una is currently selling Little Mad Hatters online at ETSY and will also be stocking at the upcoming Handmade Market at 10am – 4pm, Saturday 11 September 2010, Kamberra Wine Company.
