Joining the likes of Thirsty Merc, Jessica Mauboy and the McClymonts, Melbourne indie pop sensation Little Red are bringing their infectious tunes to Australia Day Live.

Having previously played at the ANU Bar, the boys are looking forward to returning and belting out some of their biggest hits, including crowd favourite Rock It off latest album, Midnight Remember.

“Rock It always gets the best reception,” says Tom Hartney (vocals, percussion). “We’ve never experienced anything like it before. When we start playing it the crowd goes bananas!”

Following Australia Day Live, the boys will once again join the Big Day Out road show for 2011.

“As an artist, Big Day Out is the crème de la crème,” says Tom. “With the backstage catering, and you get to meet big bands and your heroes – it’s great.”

Having recently released Midnight Remember in Japan, Little Red are now turning their sights overseas.

“There’s always something bubbling overseas,” says Tom.
“We’ve got a few shows lined up in Japan if we want them. I’d also love to get back to England.”
