Just six weeks ago a local Canberra girl heard about Frocktober, the month long charity event raising money for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, and saw an opportunity to bring the awareness-raising celebration to the nation’s capital.
With a small committee of eight volunteers, the Frocktober Canberra team have fresh and innovative ideas to boost knowledge and awareness of this cause throughout the Canberra community.
Frocktober is all about increasing the public’s awareness of ovarian cancer, promoting women’s health and well being and celebrating the great diversity of shapes, sizes and colours women come in.

Enjoy a fashion parade, good music and have fun with friends. $10 at the door with all proceeds going to Frocktober, helping to raise awareness of ovarian cancer.
