La De Da opens in Belconnen

by OutInCanberra 14 December 2011

Canberra's newest cocktail bar, La De Da, has now opened its doors in Belconnen.

Sip cocktails and drink in the water views at this mixology den, cocktail lounge and function area, located above Ha Ha Bar.

Starting in the New Year, Ha Ha Bar downstairs will commence a dinner service offering casual dining, leaving upstairs to specialise in cocktails and be available exclusively for functions.

The bar boasts an evolving beverage menu inspired by the flirty whims of summer. Resident mixologist Russel Pearson focusses on doing a lot of little things really well, with these small nuances contributing an enormous amount to adding depth and complexity drinks.

The bar's design is inspired by a vintage radio, with custom furniture designed by local designer Tom Skeehan and artwork by Erin Forsyth from New Zealand.
