Canberra’s annual celebration of culture and creativity, Enlighten 2014 kicks off in just four days and this year tickets are selling fast!

Enlighten will illuminate the capital after dark from Friday 28 February until Saturday 8 March, with spectacular architectural projections, late-night openings, exclusive dining experiences and a buzzing entertainment precinct featuring performances never before seen in Australia. This event offers a jam-packed program of more than 50 free and ticketed events at 12 cultural institutions across Canberra.

Fiers A Cheval – In a spectacular Australian-first, this dreamlike herd of horses stands four-metres tall.
Priscilla – 20 Years Young – Celebrating the 20th anniversary of The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert at the National Film and Sound Archive.
Barry Morgan’s World of Organs – A memorable and hilarious musical experience at Questacon.
Deviator – An interactive game experience played by you in the Parliamentary Triangle.
Charles Bradley and his Extraordinaires – An unmissable free concert by the former James Brown impersonator outside the National Portrait Gallery.
Elvis at 21 Karaoke Party – Get ready to give the King the farewell he deserves at the National Portrait Gallery.
By the Water – Live it up on the National Museum of Australia’s lakeside lawn with The Chantoozies and Mental as Anything.
Songs of the Railways – Indigenous musician Troy Brady performs songs inspired by the National Archives’ I’ve Been Working on the Railway.
Out of Africa – Enjoy the smooth tunes and captivating stories of Valanga Khoza among the lions at the National Zoo and Aquarium.
