Black Opal Fashions on the Field Review

Black Opal 2010 was a muddy affair. But the persistent rain didn’t stop the show ponies from emerging in high heels and dainty headwear, in anticipation for the Myer Fashions on the Field competition.

For the first race on the Canberra Autumn racing calendar, the Fashion's on the Field stage didn't see much of this season's trends, with only sprinklings of metallics, nudes and strong shoulders making a show. Instead, racegoers opted for traditional black and white in classic silhouettes, with leather gloves aplenty.
