André Rieu, the renowned Dutch violinist and conductor, performs a series of concerts every year in his hometown of Maastricht in The Netherlands. These concerts are André’s most popular with thousands of fans flying from all over the world to witness the incredible music event set amongst the dramatic backdrop of his beautiful hometown.

If a trip to The Netherlands is out of the question, this July you can enjoy the concert direct via satellite in the comfort of your local cinema. The concert will screen on Sunday 24th July at Greater Union Manuka at 11am and 3pm, plus a screening at Hoyts Woden at 2:00pm.

As always, André will conduct his famous Johann Strauss Orchestra and also performing this year will be the Harlem Gospel Choir, the Soweto Gospel Choir and Russian musicians, The St Petersburg Trio. Sir Anthony Hopkins will be a special guest at the concerts and has composed a Waltz titled, ‘And The Waltz Will Go On’ which will be performed.
